We’re making it easier than ever to update the cellphone details associated with your Hollywoodbets account. This new process will eliminate the need for you to call our contact centre. Simply follow the steps outlined below.
How do I change the cellphone number associated with my Hollywoodbets account?
Simply head over to our website. Near the top of your screen, you’ll see a “Change Password or Cell Number” button, give this a click. Next, you’ll be prompted to “Change Password”, “Change Cell Number” and “FAQs” – click on the Change Cell Number option.
Next up you’ll be prompted to enter your ID number (please note that this feature isn’t currently available if you’re using a passport number) and your surname. Once these details have been entered click on the NEXT button.
For the next step, you’ll need to provide selfie verification. Click on the Proceed button. You’ll then be prompted to take a selfie. To do so, click the “CAPTURE FACE” button and choose whether you’d like to use your front or rear camera (we recommend the front camera if your phone has one).
You will need someone to assist you if you’re using the rear-facing camera, as you need to line fit your face into the frame. Whichever option you choose, make sure that you’re not wearing any headwear.
After we’ve confirmed your identity through the selfie you’ve taken, you’ll be required to enter the NEW cellphone number you’d like to use.
Once you’ve entered the info, click “REQUEST OTP” and we’ll send an OTP to your new cellphone number via SMS. Enter this OTP and you’re good to go!
