He doesn’t take on the strongest field and can confirm his recent improvement.

V CHEVALIERS was only beaten by half a length in his penultimate run under Moreira. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and has the potential to find the winner’s enclosure. ZONE D was beaten narrowly in his last outing by Charizard. He has a wide draw to overcome but Purton should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

SUNNY AND GOLD was pipped by the narrowest of margins last time by Cigar Buddies. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and on form is difficult to oppose. ALLOY KING won well last time under Hamelin shouldering 56kgs. He remains in Class 5 and there is no reason why he can’t make it quick back-to-back wins.

AWESOME TREASURE found plenty support on debut when beaten by a neck by Gracylove. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt, can go from gun to tape and give The International Jockeys a good start in the challenge. FABULOUS EIGHT has finished closer-up in his last two outings. He was beaten by a nose on this course last time and on form is difficult to ignore.

VIVA HUNTER finished closer-up behind the winner last time and should be reaching peak fitness. His only win was at this level and looks to be racing off a competitive mark once again. DR WINNING showed good improvement on this course when beaten just over a length by Yee Cheong Warrior. He is a sort who is still improving with racing and should make his presence felt in this type of field.

He was only beaten just under a length on this course last time by Flaming Passion and if confirming that effort, could represent decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing punters. XPONENTIAL has finished runner-up in his last three outings. He was only beaten by a nose last time and looks fairly handicapped in this field.

He is a sort that is still on the upgrade and could provide the proverbial cherry-on-the-top for The International Jockeys’. ASTROLOGER was a shock winner last time and is the ride of Japanese jockey Kawada. He came from the clouds on that occasion and pundits will have to think twice before leaving him out. RESOLUTE was beaten 1.75 lengths by the second selection last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror.

ZEBROWSKI almost made it back-to-back wins in a competitive finish last time when beaten a nose at the wire by Celestial Power. He gets a 1kg relief in the weights and looks set to get back to winning ways. FA FA steps up into Class 2 for the first time. The manner in which he won his recent outings suggests he may be up to the task at hand. He comes in with a light weight and should be doing his best work late in the lucky last.
