CENTENARY IBIS comes in with a light weight of just 51kgs and brings fair form into this contest. He has completed the quartet in recent outings over this distance and could be one to cause an upset. HAPPY JAI JAI produced a decent last run and it is encouraging that Moreira has been booked for the ride. He may be able to coax a little extra out of him where it matters most.
13.15 Race 2 Class 4 Handicap 1000m

FORTUNE HERO stayed on strongly last time over six furlongs and interestingly tries the minimum trip. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and looks fairly handicapped with 53kgs on his back. WILD WEST WING wasn’t disgraced in the Longines International Jockeys Challenge last time and must be included in all bets.
13.45 Race 3 Class 4 Handicap 1200m

SINGAPORE SPIRIT is one of the better bets on the card. He produced an eye-catching debut over this distance when narrowly beaten at the wire. Moreira takes the ride and he should come on leaps with that run under the belt. SMART IDEA was a winner in this class last time under Bentley when defeating MOON PEAKS. He is 2kgs worse off at the weights but will be looking to make it back-to-back wins.
14.15 Race 4 Class 3 Handicap 2200m
Selections: 3/6/7
SAVVY KINGMAN almost reeled off a hat-trick last time when narrowly beaten by Tianchi Monster on this course. He has cracked a neat draw and should continue his ultra-consistent run of form. ABOVE is drawn best of all. He was pipped in his penultimate start by GOD OF DRAGON and is now 2kgs better off at the weights.
14.45 Race 5 Class 4 Handicap 1650m
Selections: 1/6/3
LOYAL BABY was pipped at the wire last time by CHARIZARD who got up on the line to win. He is 1kg better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating the pair at the finish. EVER LAUGH is the ride of South African jockey Ferraris and like the second selection, is looking for back-to-back wins.
15.15 Race 6 Class 4 Handicap 1200m

SAVVY DELIGHT finished right behind AHEAD A HEAD in his debut effort. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. HERO STAR brings fair form into this contest and could be one to complete the trifecta.
15.45 Race 7 Class 3 Handicap 1200m

DIAMOND BRILLIANT was beaten just over a length by top weight FAMILY FOLKS last time. He is 2.5kgs better off with his recent conqueror and is the narrow first selection. EXCELLENT CHARIOT produced a good last run in this class. He looks fairly-handicapped and should give another good account of himself.
16.15 Race 8 Class 2 Handicap 1000m

HANDSOME BO BO beat KURPANY last time by 1.25 lengths and is weighted to follow up. He has finished runner-up in his last two outings and should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. KEEP YOU WARM comes in with a handy galloping weight, has some attractive form and could be one to cause an upset.
16.50 Race 9 Class 3 Handicap 1200m

WOOD ON FIRE produced a fair effort in the Longines International Jockeys Challenge last time. He is a sort that likes to race off the speed, is looking for his third victory this season and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. COLONEL managed the step up to Class 3 superbly when beaten by A Smile Like Yours just one week ago and should give a good account in the lucky last if this race hasn’t come too soon.
