PLUMPTON

Race 1 No2 STREAM OF STARS (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: San Twiston-Davies

This is quite a warm novices’ hurdle in which STREAM OF STARS can get the better of paper favourite Sonning. The selection converted what was a penalty kick at Ludlow which has acted as a boost to his confidence levels.

Race 5 No11 HEY BOB
Trainer: Olly Murphy – Jockey: Sean Bowen

Hold up horse HEY BOB will be in his element round this tight track on which horses are almost always operating on the turn. He’s knocked on the door in successive starts for new trainer Murphy, and is primed to regain the winning thread.

Race 7 No10 PEERLESS BEAUTY
Trainer: Fergal O’Brien – Jockey: Paddy Brennan

PEERLESS BEAUTY was narrowly denied when heavily backed for a similar contest at Wetherby last month. She holds the cards in the nightcap, and should prove hard to beat.

CHELMSFORD CITY

Race 1 No9 BONITA B (Each Way)
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Darragh Keenan

BONITA B is a pacey individual who can gain an overdue first career success under a jockey that partnered her on her return to the all-weather at the start of the month. She made a good fist of wiring that Lingfield contest, and if getting out handily again, should prove hard to catch.

Race 5 No9 SUZI’S CONNOISSEUR (Each Way)
Trainer: Jane Chapple-Hyam – Jockey: Jonny Peate

Veteran SUZI’S CONNOISSEUR rarely fails to catch the judge’s eye at this course and rates a cracking bet to take home another cheque. He goes well for an inexperienced pilot, and should again be firmly in the mix.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1 No9 TRUSTY RUSTY
Trainer: Tony Carroll – Jockey: Mollie Phillips

Consistency is the watchword of TRUSTY RUSTY, and the Roderic O’Connor filly can record a third course and distance success of the year. She’s really got her act together since undergoing a breathing operation, and although poorly drawn has the natural gate speed to get out of trouble.

Race 6 No5 SCREAMING PETRUS (Nap)
Trainer: David Loughnane – Jockey: Richard Kingscote

SCREAMING PETRUS has attracted support and taken home a cheque on both starts at this track. He has a big form card to play, is well drawn and should make it third time lucky.

Place Accumulater Perm (Races 2-8)

5 x 1, 5, 11 x 11, 7, 5 x 3 x 5 x 2 x 4, 5
