CATTERICK BRIDGE

Race 2 No4 BRORSON
Trainer: Martin Keighley – Jockey: Sean Bowen

BRORSON has a massive experience edge on his foes as he returns to novice company, and can gain an overdue first success under Rules. He troubled the judge in consecutive maiden hurdles before finishing in mid pack in a competent handicap at Cheltenham, and will appreciate this considerable drop in class.

Race 5 No7 VEE DANCER (Nap)
Trainer: Ronan McNally – Jockey: Kevin Brogan

VEE DANCER landed a big gamble on his first visit to these shores and followed-up with plenty up his sleeve at Hereford on Saturday. The Irish raider seemed to be happier racing over a longer trip, and remains at that distance for his hat-trick bid.

WINCANTON

Race 1 No1 BRAVEHEART
Trainer: Jamie Snowden – Jockey: Gavin Sheehan

BRAVEHEART has earned in a bumper and a maiden hurdle on his two outings since being bought out of the Irish point-to-point circuit. He chased home Galore Desassences at Taunton, and the tongue tie applied that day is retained. His stable has its novices in good order, and he should prove hard to beat.

Race 2 No2 KAKAMORA (Nap)
Trainer: Tom George – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

With the benefit of a wind operation and a first time tongue tie, KAKAMORA can uphold the promise of a bountiful 2020/21 season and complete a hat-trick. He impressively took out a maiden hurdle and then a handicap at Huntingdon and Perth in the spring, and has schooled well ahead of this switch to fences.

Race 3 No1 OAKLEY
Trainer: Richard Bandey – Jockey: Harry Bannister

In the same colours as Kakamora, OAKLEY can show that a change of scenery has been of benefit by scoring on debut for his new handler. The former smart handicapper faces a couple of in-form foes in Brief Times and Earth Company, but should be up to the task in hand.

Race 4 No13 RAINYDAY WOMAN
Trainer: Paul Nicholls – Jockey: Harry Cobden

RAINYDAY WOMAN looks a worthy favourite for this competitive novices’ hurdle, having stylishly opened her account over jumps at Wincanton earlier in the month. The former dual bumper scorer has her tail up for a race in which she escapes a penalty.

Race 7 No6 BOMBER’S MOON (Each Way)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Mr Finn Lambert

BOMBER’S MOON went from travelling like a winner to hoisting the white flag in a matter of strides here a couple of weeks ago, but was found to have gashed a front leg. With that genuine excuse to bring to the table he is worth supporting under a rider that gets on with him.

NEWCASTLE

Race 6 No2 INVASIVE (Each Way)
Trainer: William Haggas – Jockey: Tom Marquand

Representing top connections, INVASIVE can better her good effort to finish second in a maiden here last month. She then ran respectably on handicap debut at Chelmsford, with the cheek pieces added that day are now absent.

Race 8 No4 TANTASTIC (Each Way)
Trainer: John Wainwright – Jockey: Barry McHugh

TANTASTIC has knocked on the door in recent outings at this course and appears to have benefitted from a move to the Wainwright yard. If enjoying the rub of the green, the Mayson gelding should take home a cheque in a complex affair.

Place Accumulater Perm (Races 2-8)

1 x 1 x 13, 4, 2, 6 x 7, 6 x 2, 12, 5 x 3, 6 x 4, 1
