WINDSOR

Race 8 No1 OH SO AUDACIOUS (Nap)
Trainer: Harry Eustace – Jockey: Kaiya Fraser

The final race of Windsor’s final fixture of 2023 can fall to top weight OH SO AUDACIOUS. The Mukhadram filly has shown tenacity in three tight finishes to score and finish second at this course and to deliver at Brighton. Fraser was on board for that first success, and the combination rate the only bet on a very tricky card for wagering.

PLUMPTON

Race 1 No4 WESTERN SOLDIER (Nap)
Trainer: Milton Harris – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

WESTERN SOLDIER was a good operator in Germany from where he was sourced by one of the Harris stable’s main providers. He shaped promisingly to trouble the judge on debut under Rules at Sedgefield, and if building on that should open his UK account.

Race 4 No7 FAIRWAY FREDDY
Trainer: Nick Gifford – Jockey: James Davies

FAIRWAY FREDDY could enjoy a fitness edge in a race where several make their seasonal debuts. He ran well to chase home Guy at Fontwell earlier in the month, an experience which should have blown away the cobwebs. He is also a three times winner at this track for the ever-popular Gifford.

Race 5 No7 DIAMOND EGG
Trainer: Chris Gordon – Jockey: Rex Dingle

With successes on his first and final appearances last season, DIAMOND EGG proved a good money spinner for his connections. He was well supported when unseating his rider on his only visit to this course and impressively opened his account over jumps at Wincanton in April. He should again pay his way in the handicap hurdle arena this winter.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 2 No1 BATTLE QUEEN
Trainer: Andrew Balding – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

BATTLE QUEEN made a pleasing introduction when third at Southwell to show she’s effective on the Tapeta surface. She needs to circumnavigate a tricky outer draw, but if doing so should take the spoils with the more experienced Eleftheria her main opponent.

Race 3 No3 GAMEKEEPER (Nap)
Trainer: John Gosden – Jockey: James Doyle

GAMEKEEPER brings York form to the table in this maiden in which the son of Blue Point has a plum draw four off the rail. He was a strong finisher on that debut and will be more streetwise. He will be popular in the betting but looks the best bet on this card.

Place Accumulator Perm: (Races 2-8)

1 x 3 x 2, 10, 4 x 7, 2, 5 x 8, 9, 1 x 10, 7, 11 x 7, 8, 4
