LINGFIELD PARK

Race 1 No6 HIROMICHI
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Charles Bishop

HIROMICHI was a three times scorer last year who was in need of his comeback run when in mid-division behind Plumette at Southwell. He’s a winner on Polytrack, and can make this a successful first visit to Lingfield.

Race 4 No9 FLASH BARDOT (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Rose Dawes

FLASH BARDOT has troubled the judge in three of her four starts and takes an experience edge into this novice stakes. She’s drawn alongside marker rival Ermesinde, and can take full advantage of the 11lb she receives from that penalised foe.

WINCANTON

Race 1 No1 BRENTFORD HOPE
Trainer: Harry Derham – Jockey: Paul O’Brien

A useful recruit from the Flat, BRENTFORD HOPE has found one to beat him in each of his three starts over hurdles. His new trainer should see the gelding give him another winners in a spate of successes since taking out a licence.

Race 4 No2 THE KINGS WRIT
Trainer: Kayley Woollacott- Jockey: Ben Godfrey

THE KINGS WRIT has with three earning efforts since the turn of the year shown he’s performing as well as ever. His trainer came close to a success with Eros last week and this 12-year-old can roll back the years carrying the same colours.

Race 6 No2 WESTERN GENERAL (Nap)
Trainer: Joe Tizzard – Jockey: Brendan Powell

WESTERN GENERAL is the least experienced in the field for this handicap hurdle, but showed when chasing home the useful Killaloan at Taunton that he should acquit himself well in this sphere. Having earned in all three of his outings over jumps, he deserves a change of luck.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 6 No6 GAVI DI GAVI (Nap)
Trainer: Alan King – Jockey: Andrea Atzeni

Atzeni had no luck at the Breeders’ Cup, but just 48 hours later he should enjoy a winning experience on GAVI DI GAVI who has improved from race to race in his three 2023 starts, culminating in a game success over this course and distance last month, which was the first time the Sardinian had ridden him.
