NOTTINGHAM

Race 1 No8 SERA DAWN (Each Way)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: George Bass

SERA DAWN underwhelmed on her first all-weather run but had earned in both her starts on turf at Yarmouth and Catterick. She can handle testing conditions, and is ready for this first run back in which she is a speculative advice.

Race 4 No4 WOODSTOCK (Nap)
Trainer: Jack Channon – Jockey: Charles Bishop

WOODSTOCK saw his Kempton success given a boost when the second Wadacre Gomez bolted up at Newcastle on Monday. The son of Sixties Icon looked in good heart in his winding up gallop for this first run in a handicap, and can complete a fine hat-trick.

Race 5 No8 COQUELICOT (Each Way)
Trainer: Anthony Honeyball – Jockey: Andrea Atzeni

COQUELICOT is a fascinating runner given that she is a rare visitor to the Flat, and that her last two appearances on the level have been at this track in the same race. She’s subsequently taken out handicap hurdles at Ascot and Sandown, and warmed up for this with a satisfactory effort on the Southwell Tapeta surface.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 2 No3 TOTNES (Nap)
Trainer: Ian Balding – Jockey: Joshua Bryan

TOTNES was an authoritative scorer on her reappearance here last month, having done well physically through the winter. With her stable amongst the winners she can make this a winning handicap debut at the main expense of Seagrave Fox.

Race 4 No7 WALL GAME (Each Way)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: Dane O’Neill

In the colours of his trainer, WALL FAME can take away a cheque as an attractively priced roughie. He progressed to earn on his final of two starts and although likely to benefit from this comeback race can get into the shake-up.

Race 7 No4 ENGLISH SPIRIT
Trainer: Heather Main – Jockey: Joshua Bryan

Bryan was in the hot seat when ENGLISH SPIRIT made it a second win from as many visits to Dunstall Park. His mount is a consistent earner who holds strong claims to preserve that unbeaten record here.

WINCANTON

Race 4 No9 GAYE LEGACY (Nap)
Trainer: Tom Symonds – Jockey: Benjamin Poste

If GAYE LEGACY makes a quick reappearance she can open her account 8n this first leg of the maiden hurdle. The Flemensfirth mare didn’t enjoy the rub of the green in the home straight when third at Ludlow on Monday after travelling well. This looks a weaker contest, and her connections could be tempted by another trip to the well.

Race 7 No5 TRIPLE TRADE
Trainer: Joe Tizzard – Jockey: Brendan Powell

TRIPLE TRADE had knocked on the door before unseating his rider at Kempton last month. His completion record is not good by any means, but he has talent and can give multiple scorer Lazy Sunday plenty to think about if putting in a clear round.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 2 No3 COME ON GIRL
Trainer: Mike Appleby – Jockey: Cieren Fallon

COME ON GIRL put in her best work at the finish when third at Lingfield on Monday to make it a 12th earning run from her last thirteen outings. The grey is the only one in the contest to be in form, and is just as effective on this right-handed track.

Race 3 No3 SAPPHIRE SEAS (Nap)
Trainer: Charlie Appleby – Jockey: William Buick

Frankel filly SAPPHIRE SEAS pipped stablemate Mountain Song by a nose at Wolverhampton after being backed as if defeat was out of the question. She will be more of an attractive betting proposition in this fillies’ novice, with the slightly longer distance sure to assist her. She can stave off the challenge of the other previous winner in the field, Crack Of Light.

Race 6 No2 YORKSHIRE
Trainer: Ed Bethell – Jockey: Callum Rodriguez

YORKSHIRE landed some good bets when getting up in the final stride to pip Ferrous at Southwell and should enjoy stretching out to seven furlongs for this first run in a handicap. The Harry Angel colt makes the long journey from Middleham and has to be respected in a race any of the five contenders can win.
