SPEEDY DRAGON produced a fair comeback run when beaten just under two lengths by Brave Power. The form of that race suggests he is good enough to win in this type of field and is the narrow first selection. SUNNY AND GOLD has entered the frame in his last three starts, should be at peak fitness and must be considered.

LIGHT MY DAY returns from a 41-day break. He followed up his most recent win well when beaten just over a length by Super Kin and from pole position, should make his presence felt. INCREDIBLE overcame a wide draw last time and looked a winner until about a furlong out. He may adopt similar tactics again and must be included.

WHIZZ KID got beaten 2.25 lengths by EVERYONE’S VICTORY last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. FLYING DRAGON produced a good comeback run when beaten just over a length by Eight Trigrams. He should strip fitter and could be one to cause an upset.
9.00 Race 5 Class 4 Handicap 1400m

GOOD BUDDY has backed up his favorite status in his last two outings on this course. He is in search of a hat-trick and if overcoming his wide draw, should take a power of beating. HAPPY DAILY finished a couple of lengths behind Sight Spirit last time. Teetan takes the ride and the pair merit healthy respect.
9.35 Race 6 Class 3 Handicap 1200m

HARMONY SPIRIT was beaten narrowly in his last start and can earn his first Hong Kong career win with Moreira in the saddle. MAGIC SUPREME finished right behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line.

DARCI JOY followed up his most recent win well when beaten just over a length by Light of Wanshi. He loves a mile, is drawn best of all and can get back to winning ways. OSCAR GLORY finished right behind the top selection last time. He is 1kg worse off at the weights and may have to settle for another place.

BLAZE WARRIOR is one of the better bets on the card. He produced an eye-catching win last time to beat My Sugar and the manner in which he finished off his race suggests there is another win in the tank. IMA SINGLE MAN beat the top selection in his penultimate start and looks the most likely danger.

ROMANTIC WARRIOR is two-from-two and will be looking to keep his unbeaten record intact. The form of his debut run catches the eye as he beat subsequent winner A Smile Like Yours on that occasion. He has scope and there is plenty more to come from this individual. SEASONS BLISS is another going for a hat-trick of wins. He looks fairly handicapped and is the biggest danger to the top selection.
11.45 Race 10 Class 3 Handicap 1600m

CAPTAIN WIN impressed in his last win when defeating Parterre who ran a fair subsequent race. He is drawn wide but should give another good account of himself in the lucky last.
