HAMILTON

Race 1 – SIMPLY BLUE 56/100

SIMPLY BLUE can kickstart what could be a profitable afternoon for followers of William Buick, as the Godolphin number one makes a rare visit to Hamilton.

His first mount of the day sets a strong standard in the racingtv.com EBF Maiden Stakes following a promising effort on his second start.

Despite still looking far from the finished article, David Loughnane’s juvenile kept on well when going down by just a nose to Blinky, who ran in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot next time out.

Third-placed Carrados has since performed with credit at Goodwood and Simply Blue is clearly held in high regard, as he holds an entry for the Group One Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh.

Race 3 – ARAGON CASTLE 5/2

Buick will also be aboard ARAGON CASTLE for Andrew Balding in the Aspire Cleaning Company Almada Mile Handicap.

The three-year-old has been knocking on the door of late and has a fantastic chance to register a deserved victory off a mark just 1lb higher than his neck defeat at Goodwood last month.

The two-time champion jockey finishes his trip north of the border on Phil Kirby’s Lady Bouquet who showed a likeable attitude when scoring at Beverley recently and can follow up in the Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap.

Race 4 – WINTER CROWN 4/1

WINTER CROWN deserves a change of fortune in the Aspire At Hamilton-Park Handicap following two solid seconds at Redcar and this venue.

His latest conqueror Jordan Electrics has since obliged again here in a higher grade and Julie Camacho’s gelding is the type to carry weight well.

Race 5 – VICTORY SHOUT 9/2

VICTORY SHOUT suffered a blip at Thirsk last time out but warrants another chance in the John Armstrong Memorial Celebration’ Handicap.

Karl Burke’s Frankel colt had previously been runner-up on two trips to Hamilton and can get back on track.

LINGFIELD

Race 1 – FICTIONAL 33/20

FICTIONAL can kick things off at Lingfield by landing the Download The Raceday Ready App Handicap for Richard Hughes.

The lightly-raced four-year-old seemed to relish a change of tactics when galloping on strongly from the front to score at Kempton and can continue on an upward curve now the penny has dropped.

Race 3 – SERAPH GABRIEL 13/10

SERAPH GABRIEL was an eye-catching fourth in what looked a useful maiden at Newbury on debut and is backed to find the required improvement to claim the Download The Racecourse App Raceday Ready EBF Maiden Stakes for the in form Ralph Beckett team.

Frankel colt Best Adventure appeared green when fourth tackling this trip at Haydock on debut and will know more this time.

Debutant Dubawi colt Archivist hails from an excellent Cheveley Park Stud family and his dam won on her first start.

Hot Property indicated ability when fourth tackling six furlongs at Hamilton and is likely to improve raised in journey.

Race 4 – ALASHOS 11/10

ALASHOS took a pleasing step forward from debut when a short head second at Brighton and finds a good opportunity to go close again in the Free Digital Racecard At Raceday-Ready.Com Restricted Maiden Stakes.

Twilight Ballet provided a promising career start finishing third over 5f at this track. Did not progress as anticipated up to this trip at Newmarket last week but is still a likely chance.

Debutant Silca Bay represents a trainer having a fine season with her two-year-olds, while Gilet is also on debut and holds the potential to make his presence felt.

Race 6 – BIRKENHEAD 13/10

BIRKENHEAD was just edged out by High Opinion in a clash of double seekers at Catterick and remains one to keep on side in the Tips For Every Race At raceday-ready.com Handicap.

Wrestling Revenue managed to win for the second time in four starts at Brighton. Yet to defy a rating this high and appeals as the chief danger.

Nordic Glory races without a turf victory in ten attempts, but maintains a good all weather record here, so shouldn’t be ruled out.

Zachary also prefers the all weather but has struggled in recent starts and needs to stage a revival.
