EXETER

Race 1 – SASSIFIED 4/1

SASSIFIED has come on in leaps and bounds since reappearing for a new stable during May boasting three wins from seven hurdle runs.

Travelled strongly throughout when continuing his progress with a two length success at Fontwell in latest and is hard to oppose.

Weaver’s Answer returned from a long break to readily open his account at Uttoxeter. Might have more to offer attempting this longer journey.

Cawthorne Cracker kept on well winning twelve days ago at Exeter and could make his presence felt representing in-form yard.

Lady Gwen reappeared following wind surgery finishing runner-up at Worcester and will be in the mix.

Race 3 – SNIPE 3/1

SNIPE is the pick in the Paul Ferguson’s Jumpers To Follow Best Mate Chase Handicap Chase.

A winner and placed twice from six attempts over hurdles, Dan Skelton’s inmate already looks like being a better horse over fences judged on his successful chasing bow at Southwell three weeks ago.

The six-year-old met the bang-in-form Swapped at Southwell and accounted for him fairly readily in the end, suggesting a 6lb rise is not beyond him.

Race 5 – THE IMPOSTER 11/2

THE IMPOSTER has not missed the frame in eight starts since being fitted with this combination of accessories winning six times.

Up in grade but no reason to think he cannot continue his progression.

Itso Fury landed two small field hurdling contests last season and reappears following a fifth of fifteen effort in a better race at Haydock during April.

Boasts an impressive first-up record and must be respected.

Goshhowposh placed twice from three maiden hurdle runs and is feared on handicap and stable debut.

Gentleman Valley found success three times tackling this trip and rates an obvious danger.

Race 7 – CAUSTIC 7/2

CAUSTIC is the son of three-time G1 winner Galileo representing a trainer who has recently found form.

He is likely to prove popular in the betting and a bold bid is anticipated

French raider Sorceleur maintains a decent profile and makes the shortlist for the Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden combination.

Marrakushi rates as the son of Irish legend Dubawi and could have a say in the outcome.

Half-sister to some decent performers Mapogo cannot be ruled out.

HEREFORD

Race 1 – FAVOUR AND FORTUNE 63/100

The National Hunt season is beginning to click into gear and there could be a glimpse of a top prospect at Hereford when FAVOUR AND FORTUNE makes his hurdling bow in the Vickers.Bet EBF “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle.

Alan King’s five-year-old made a big impression in bumpers last season, easily winning his first start at Southwell before handing a beating to a useful cast of rivals at Warwick on his second start.

That earnt the gelding a shot at the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival and although he was unable to make his mark at Prestbury Park, he remains full of promise.

Race – MONTREGARD 33/20

MONTREGARD is tipped to give weight and a beating to his rivals in the Go Racing With Vickers.Bet Racing Club Novices’ Handicap Hurdle.

Having shaped with promise when third on his Doncaster debut, Tom Lacey’s four-year-old carried the colours of JP McManus to a narrow victory on his second start at Warwick.

The runner-up from the latter race, Democritus, has won since, whereas Montregard has enjoyed a break.

An opening mark of 105 for his handicap debut could underestimate his ability.

Race 5 – KESTREL VALLEY 15/20

KESTREL VALLEY was last seen in March winning by 34 lengths over course and distance following-up her Ludlow success earlier that month.

Reappears racing for a new yard and is a major player here.

Spitfire Girl returned to action nine days ago just doing enough making chase debut at Ffos Las.

Later demoted to second due to interference and will be in the mix.

Lily Glitters and Barely Famous should both make your shortlist.

Race 7 – NAVAJO INDY 5/1

NAVAJO INDY placed on Exeter debut the start of the year before recording a promising fourth of seventeen effort at Kempton.

Holds chances against this line-up if ready to go first-up.

Irish Colours finished third of twelve in a Newbury jumpers flat contest ahead of a couple of subsequent winners, and there’s every reason to think she could have a say in the outcome.

Recent Newton Abbot jumpers flat winner Jukebox Annie and Matchadam should also be considered.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race – ABBEY’S DREAM 6/1

ABBEY’S DREAM maintains strong form with a course and distance handicap success in this grade preceding a runner-up effort at Newcastle.

Surprise Picture also won a track and trip handicap two outings back at this level before a second under the same conditions and is the main danger here.

Miss Mai Tai and Tyke also hold bold claims.

Race 5 – AGE OF TIME 91/100

Charlie Appleby’s AGE OF TIME looks well placed to double his tally in the Win £2,000,000 With BetMGM’s Golden Goals Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton.

Sixth behind a useful sort in Mafnood on his Haydock introduction, the Dubawi colt showed the benefit of that initial experience when winning a shade cosily over this course and distance next time.

Conceding a 7lb is no easy task, but Age Of Time looks capable of doing so.

Race 6 – REGAL ENVOY 7/2

REGAL ENVOY scored at course and distance handicap at the start of October, is back up one class but racing consistently during the last six weeks and rates a leading chance.

Intervention showed plenty of ability at Kempton last week when second tackling this trip and handicap standard. May go close again.

Bellagio Man and A Pint Of Bear are also both of interest.

Race 9 – MASTER OF COMBAT 17/10

MASTER OF COMBAT scored here attempting a handicap at this level and is a leading chance set to follow up.

Hale End ran well at Ayr earlier this month when a close third contesting a soft ground 1m handicap, so should be included on your shortlist.

Distinguished Lady recorded a decent fourth in this grade over 1m at Chelmsford and can build on that run.

Celtic Empress may place.
