It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Oratorio will love the rise to 1600m and he may be the one to side with.

CLIFF TOP is the best bet on the programme. He showed good speed over 1000m last time, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Cruise Control. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from seven starts over this distance. Despite his big mass of 62kgs, he should be too good for this field.

BUSH TRACKER fought hard in the Listed Memorial Mile last time, but found one too good in the form of Grazinginthegrass. He has won twice and finished second once from five starts on this course. He tries the 1800m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can notch up his sixth career victory.
