13:10 – Race 2 | Class 5 | 1650m

MEDIC ELITE caught the eye on International Jockeys Challenge day when just beaten by Nice Birdie. A repeat of that effort should see him finish in the money. REGENCY HAPPY STAR has placed in his last two starts and is nicely weighted with apprentice Chung in the irons.
13:40 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1800m

The Douglas Whyte-trained SPLENDID STAR won well in his last start. He takes a step-up in grade but should be up to the task at hand. The grey HAPPY ANGEL finished third behind subsequent winner M Unicorn in his last start. He has cracked a neat draw and can give the top selection a good run for his money.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1200m

RUN RUN TIMING produced a promising debut effort when 2.8 lengths behind Wunderbar. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and the booking of James McDonald is a big plus. GOLDEN LUCK has entered the frame in all three of his starts this season. He is nicely handicapped and can give another good account of himself.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 3 | 1000m

ATOMIC ENERGY finished 1.5 lengths behind HUMBLE STAR last time. He is a whopping 8.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. EXPLOSIVE WITNESS has consistent form lines to his credit and is a genuine contender in this line-up.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

YOUNG LIFE FOREVER was beaten by a nose in his last start. He is reaching peak fitness and should be one of the leading contenders. SEE U AGAIN finished just under a length behind A Americ Te Specso last time and the form of that race is appealing. SCOTCH TYCOON comes in at the top of the weights and will be looking to follow up on his recent victory.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 4 | 1650m

STRONGEST BOY was beaten the narrowest of margins last time. He is drawn wide but it is encouraging that Zac Purton has kept faith in the ride. DRAGON STAR won his last start by a neck. He runs well for Karis Teetan and the combination merit healthy respect.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1650m
Selections: 7/9/3
THESIS produced a fair last effort when just over two lengths behind subsequent winner Chill Chibi. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. MALDIVES is better than his recent form suggests. He comes in with a light weight and Keagan de Melo may be able to coax extra out of him.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1200m

A AMERIC TE SPECSO followed up his recent win well when beaten a neck by Never Too Soon. He is in a good space and will have plenty of followers. BRAVE STAR finished right behind the top selection in the race mentioned above. The pair meet on the same terms and he may be the biggest danger in this line-up. COPARTNER AMBITION has cracked pole and must also be strongly considered in the lucky last!
