He managed to finish in front of DIAMOND STAR last time and is the narrow first selection. SPEED FORCE has placed in his last two outings and is coming along the right way. He was only beaten half a length on this course in his penultimate start and merits healthy respect.

COPARTNER ERA has cracked a neat draw and looks nicely handicapped in this contest. He was beaten just under two lengths by Dragon Pride last time at Sha Tin and should be one of the leading contenders. CHATER PINS was beaten just under a length on the All-weather track last time and will just have to overcome the wide draw to have a say.

TRIPLE TRIPLE won his last start in a lower division defeating Stormtrouper. He rises in class but shoulders a handy galloping weight and could make it quick back-to-back wins. RISING FROM ASHES produced a decent last effort when beaten three lengths by Whizz Kid in a competitive event and from his neat draw should make his presence felt.
14:15 – Race 4 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m

DURHAM STAR was given a peach of a ride to win his last start over this C&D. It is encouraging that L. Hewitson has kept faith in the ride and if overcoming the wide draw, can challenge for top honours once more. SUPER MISSION comes in at the top of the weights but has ability and brings consistent recent form into this event.
14:45 – Race 5 | Class 4 Handicap | 1000m

VAMOS got going too late when pipped at the wire by Multimore last time. He has placed in his last two outings and is edging closer to a victory. GORGEOUS VITALITY has shown plenty gate speed since his arrival in Hong Kong and the booking of Z. Purton to ride is intriguing.
15:15 – Race 6 | Class 3 Handicap | 2200m

SUPERBELLA was narrowly beaten by RISE BRETHREN a month ago. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. S J TOURBILLON faced stronger in the Hong Kong Derby last time and can find a form return back in Class 3.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 Handicap | 1200m

SMART IDEA was a narrow winner over this C&D when defeating Seizing The Moment last time. He was given a fair penalty, takes on stronger but can make it quick back-to-back wins. STORMTROUPER has finished runner-up in his last two starts against weaker. He comes in with 53kgs on his back and should give the top selection a run for his money.

The D. Whyte trained BIG TWO has been narrowly beaten in his last two outings over this distance. He should be at peak race fitness and looks difficult to oppose on form. DRAGON PRIDE has won five of his last six starts, remains in Class 4 and should still be ahead of the handicapper at this stage of his career.

PACKING AWARD was an impressive winner in his last start when defeating Viva Hunter over this C&D. He looks more than capable in this division, goes for a hat-trick of wins and should take a power of beating in the lucky last. TOTAL POWER was beaten a neck at Sha Tin last time but looks held by the top selection on his penultimate start.
