NATURAL STORM comes in at the bottom of the weights and wasn’t disgraced in his last outing at Sha Tin. He prefers this course and his last win in early April came under J. Moreira.

DAILY BEAUTY was beaten 1.5 lengths by SMILING FACE over this C&D last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. THIS IS CHARISMA was beaten just under a length by Brave Power at Sha Tin last time. He should strip a much fitter horse and can give another good account of himself.
13:45 – Race 3 | Class 2 Handicap | 1800m

SOULMATE was beaten by the narrowest of margins last time over a mile. He tries 1800m for the first time and if enjoying the extra furlong on offer, should take a power of beating. BELUGA has placed in both attempts on this course. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and can give the top selection a run for his money.

CHATER PINS was only beaten half a length by Telecom Cheetah over this C&D last time. He has finished runner-up in both attempts over this distance and will just need to overcome the wide draw to have a say. SURREALISM produced a fair last run in yielding conditions. He drops back into Class 4 and could be on to cause an upset.

STOICISM was only beaten half a length by OVERSUBSCRIBED last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. HARRIER JET finished close-up behind Excellent Peers over this C&D last time. He is a 10-year-old veteran loaded with experience and cannot be ignored.
15:15 – Race 6 | Class 4 Handicap | 1650m

DRAGON PRIDE finished runner-up behind the progressive Cheery last time. Three of his four career wins have come over this distance and he looks nicely handicapped in this contest. BIG TWO has placed in his last four starts and is working towards a first career win. He reunites with L. Hewitson and the pair merit healthy respect.

EXCELLENT PEERS won his last start well over this C&D. He remains in Class 4 and is capable of making it quick back-to-back wins. SEE U AGAIN finished close-up behind Charming Steed over this C&D last time. He is winless from six starts but is a horse that is gradually improving in this division and should be one of the leading contenders.

XPONENTIAL dictated terms well last time when caught in the latter stages by Sky Forever. The Whyte-trained inmate is in a rich vein of form and looks set to bounce back to winning ways. BE READY has placed in all three of his starts this season. He has finished close-up behind the progressive Seizing The Moment in recent outings and should be right there at the business end.
