The son of What A Winter found betting support that day which suggests that he was showing good work at home. He would have come on from the outing and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

RADICCHIO’S last three starts have been good. He raced from a handy position over 1400m last time, but found one too good in the form of Release Me. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will be suited to the 1750m. He meets the right field and can shed his maiden tag.
Race 6: NOBLE CITY (3)
Jockey: R Fourie – Trainer: P Muscutt
NOBLE CITY followed up his debut victory with a good third-place finish over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He was unlucky not to have won that day as he was held up for a run between the 400m mark and the 250m mark. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Noble Tune should be suited to the 1400m and with a bit of luck in running, he can return to winning ways.

Jockey: R Fourie – Trainer: P Muscutt
ISIVUNGUVUNGU produced two very good efforts in the Western Cape before given a well-deserved 10-week break. He challenged strongly in the Grade 1 Pongracz Cape Flying Championship last time, but was outrun late. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is the class horse in this race and should take a power of beating.

Race 9: EL DANTE (2)
Jockey: M van Rensburg – Trainer: M Odendaal
EL DANTE set the pace over 1750m on this course last time, but was touched off in the closing stages. He finished 0.35 lengths behind RICCARDO that day and is 3kgs better off at the weights. That should be enough for the tables to be turned. He will love the return to the mile and from his good draw of two, he should be hard to peg back.
