Trainer Garth Puller holds a strong hand in this contest and he can saddle the first two past the post. FRANZ LEHAR ran a good race when third in the Non-Black Type African Holly Handicap last time. The son of Querari won on debut on this course and will love the rise to 1200m. He takes a drop back in class and is the horse to beat.

The daughter of Twice Over takes a drop in class and she will be cherry-ripe. If jumping on terms, she can return to winning ways.
