Jockey: Fayd’Herbe B – Trainer: Marshall V
LORD WILLIAM should have finished closer on his promising debut as he had to be steadied at the 400m mark and he shifted at the 250m mark. The manner in which he finished off his race in the closing stages was eye-catching. The son of William Longsword would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the horse to beat.

PACAYA went to the front in the Grade 3 Politician Stakes last time and did not go on with the effort. He returns from a 12-week break, during which time he was gelded. He is a horse that is loaded with ability and if not in need of the run, he should notch up his fourth career victory.
Race 6: DANCETILDAYLIGHT (2)
Jockey: Domeyer A – Trainer: Bass-Robinson
DANCETILDAYLIGHT moved up like a winner last time, but was outrun late by Musical Glitch. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The blinkers have been removed for this outing and she should go one better.

ELECTRIC WARRIOR ran a good race when finishing third in his last start over 1400m at Durbanville. He was cramped for galloping room at the 500m mark and hung in the straight. The gelding seems to have done the trick and he should strip a much fitter horse. Richard Fourie retains the ride and the combination may find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.
