FUTURISMO has produced two decent efforts over 1400m. He was slow into stride last time, stayed on at the finish but found one too good in the form of Captive Moon. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Futura will be at home over the mile and if the tongue-tie has the desired effect, he should shed his maiden tag.

The daughter of Legislate is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Grant van Niekerk takes the ride and he may be able to get the best out of her where it matters most.
