FUTURISMO is the best bet on the card. He ran a good race when finishing third in his last start over 1600m on this course. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will be at home over today’s distance. He does have a wide draw of ten to overcome, but gets the services of Grant van Niekerk who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

DUBAI LIGHTS is one of the better bets on today’s programme. He was unlucky in his last start over this distance as he was cramped for galloping room in the latter stages. He is having his second run after a rest and takes a drop in class. Aldo Domeyer takes the ride and the pair should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

SURJAY ran a good race when finishing second in his stable debut over 1600m at Durbanville. The son of Vercingetorix won his only attempt over this C&D. He would have come on since his last outing and can go one better.

ADIOS AMIGOS won a good race in his last start over 1600m at Durbanville. He raced from a prominent position, quickened up well and drew away in the latter stages. He has won three times and finished third once from five starts over this C&D. He meets a similar type of field this afternoon and can follow up.
