STAR EMPIRE from the David Kok yard won well over this course and distance last time and he can follow up again. BIG MARY was well beaten by the top selection last time but is now weighted to finish much closer and must be respected here. NORTHERN SUN was impressive in his latest win over this course and distance. The only concern for the 8-year-old bay gelding he now jumps from gate 11.
RACE 2 – Time: 06:30 Open Maiden | 1100m

RAHOTU from the Donna Logan yard is a first timer. Interesting to note top jockey Manoel Nunes takes the ride and the betting market will be a good guide here. MELODY FAIR had an eye-catching second attempt over 1200m. He now drops in trip and must have a say here. SIRIUS from the J Ong stable showed improvement in latest and still has scope.

UNCONQUERED from the L Khoo stable rates a big chance on current form. The 9-year-old bay gelding is well-drawn today. METAL WORLD showed lots of guts to win latest over 1000m. He now steps back over 1200m and could feature here. BE YOU showed improvement last time over this course and distance. He’s better drawn today and can earn here.

WEDNESDAY from the Donna Logan stable runner-up in his last two starts. His well-drawn in pole position today and must have a say here. ALLEGRO showed good improvement last time over 1000m. He will strip fitter today and steps back up in trip. DIAMOND RING is the stable companion to the top selection. The 5-year-old bay gelding is much better than his last start and can feature here if repeating his penultimate run.

CHEVAL BLANC ran on strongly to finish short head second over this course and distance last time. If repeating that run, he will be hard to beat here. KING LOUIS from the Ricardo Le Grange stable rates a big chance on current form and must have a say here. TONY’S LOVE is the stable companion to the second selection. The 4-year old bay gelding won his last two starts and goes for the hat-trick today. The only concern he jumps from a wide gate.

CROWN DANCING from the R Lim stable ran on strongly to finish second over this course and distance last time. Include in all bets. HIDDEN PROMISE from the Donna Logan yard is much better than his last start. The 9-year-old bay gelding runs well for appie PH Seow who will take the 3kgs of his back. FLYING YELLOW showed good improvement last time over this course and distance and will be running on late.

FROM THE NAVY had an eye-catching comeback run over this course and distance. The 5-year-old bay gelding will strip fitter today and must have a say here. VGOR ran on strongly last time to finish a short head second over this course and distance and if repeating that run a must for all bets. The lightly raced GOLD TEN SIXTY ONE returns from a long break and if fit and well he can run into the money, having won his debut over this distance.

DON DE LA VEGA is much better than his last start, top jockey Manoel Nunes jumps back aboard the 7-year-old bay gelding and he can feature here. SPLIT SECOND showed good improvement in latest over 2000m. He now drops back to a mile and can earn here. HELUSHKA from the Alvin Tan yard showed improvement in latest and will strip fitter today.

BEN WADE from the T Fitzsimmons stable ran on strongly to finish third over this course and distance last time. He will strip fitter today and must include in all bets. HOLY ELEANOR needed her last start. The 5-year bay mare will strip fitter today and if repeating her earlier form, she must have a say here. LIM’S PRIDE showed good improvement last time. The 7-year-old bay gelding now gets the services of a 1kg claimer and can earn here.

CELAVI returns from a break and is much better than her recent form. The 5-year-old bay Mare is unbeaten in two starts this distance and must be respected here. DARC BOUNTY from the Stephen Gray yard rates a chance on current form. The 8-year-old bay gelding enjoys this distance and can feature here. SURE WILL DO is the stable companion to the second selection good last two starts and well-drawn this time can run into the money.

LUCKY JINSHA from the T Fitzsimmons stable is in the form of his life. The 4-year-old bay gelding has won his last four starts in-a-row over this distance and looks the one to beat here. The biggest danger to the first selection is from the Donna Logan yard, KING ARTHUR the son of I Am Invincible is also in top form and enjoys this course and distance. He must be respected here. PALETAS was fair in his last two starts over this course and distance. The 5-year-old bay gelding is well drawn again and can run into the money.
Race 12 – Time: 11:30 Class 4 Handicap | 1000m

HOTSHOTS SLAM from the Ricardo Le Grange stable was pipped last time over 1100m. He now drops back to the minimum distance and must have a say. FIRST CHOICE was outrun late last time over this course and distance and could go one better today. MISTER DYNAMO was impressive last time when winning over this course and distance and if repeating that run he can follow up here.
