The Equus Champion Two-Year-Old filly returns from a well-deserved 14-week break. She is a class above the rest of this field and should keep her unbeaten record intact.

SHELDON’S last two starts have been good. He was caught late when second over 1200m on this course last time. He has won five times, finished second three times and third twice from 14 starts over this distance. He jumps from a good draw of three and should notch up his seventh career victory.

MONDIAL won a game race when shedding his maiden tag over 1600m on the Vaal Classic course. He was slow into stride, but ran on strongly and got the better of HOUSE OF ROMANOV. The son of Flower Alley does take on stronger, but he is progressive and has plenty of scope. He will be at home over the 1800m and can follow up.
