EXPEDITIONER showed good improvement when finishing second in his last start over this distance. He raced with his tongue over the bit that day which makes the effort that much more encouraging. It must be noted that the horse that finished third has come out and won since. The son of Trippi is a progressive type and should go one better in this line-up.

Jockey: S’manga Khumalo – Trainer: Adam Azzie
SUPREME WARRIOR stayed on strongly when finishing third in the Non-Black Type Egoli Mile. He should have no issues with the drop to 1200m as he won over this distance on debut. S’manga Khumalo returns to the saddle and he is the horse to beat.

REMEMBER WHEN was not disgraced when finishing fifth in the Grade 3 Man O’ War Sprint last time. She raced from a prominent position, but tired in the latter stages. She is the best weighted runner in this race and should take a power of beating.
