1. The competition runs between 1 November 2022 00:00 – 30 December 2022 23:59.
   
   
2. Cut-off time for entries is 23h59 on 30 December 2022.
   
   
3. The final draw will take place on 31 December 2022.
   
   
4. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition.
   
   
5. Each ticket number can only be entered once.
   
   
6. Single and multiple bets on soccer and multiple bets with at least one soccer leg onto other sports will be accepted.
   
   
7. Customers must bet within the duration of the competition to be eligible for the draws that will be done.

8. There will be 26 draws in total. The dates for the draws will be as follows:

• 4 – 7 – 9 – 11 – 14 – 16 – 18 – 21 – 23 – 25 – 28 – 30 November 2022.
• 2 – 5 – 7 – 9 – 12 – 14 – 16 – 19 – 21 – 23 – 26 – 28 – 30 December 2022.
• Final draw on 31 December 2022.
  
  

9. The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries weekly.
   
   
10. Entries are not limited. Every soccer bet for R20 or more will be an additional entry.
    
    
11. One winner will be randomly selected on each of the 26 days above via a draw from all valid entries.
    
    
12. The winners will be contacted telephonically on the dates of the draws.
    
    
13. Once a winner’s name has been selected in any of the draws, it is withdrawn from the promotion and cannot be re-selected in another draw. A person may not win more than one prize for the duration of the competition.
    
    
14. Draws to select the winners will take place at the Hollywoodbets Team Support Office supervised by an internal auditor.
    
    
15. Prizes are non-transferable.
16. The weekly winners will need to make themselves available at an agreed time within 24 hours in order to do the live animated soccer game or they will have to forfeit their prize. It is also the winner’s responsibility to follow the prompts of the Zoom call.
    
    
17. If the winner is not able to make the live animated soccer game due to being sick / an unforeseen circumstance, they can give written consent to a nominee, to attend in their place.
    
    
18. If the winner is unable to follow the prompts of the Zoom call, they can go to a Hollywoodbets branch for assistance.
    
    
19. The selected winner will join a Zoom call where there will be an animated soccer themed Scratch Cards game.
    
    
20. How this works:

• The game starts.
• A prerecorded voice will explain how the game works.
• The participant gets a deck of 6 scratch cards. The participant will get the opportunity to virtually scratch the card by verbally prompting the host to enable that action.
• If a card is scratched and it has 3 matching symbols, a random amount of cash will be won.
• The participant can continue scratching and the amounts won for each scratch will be accumulated until all 6 cards in the deck have been scratched.
• The aim is for the participant to cash out before a scratch with mixed symbols which will result in a ‘consolation only win’ or else the customer will lose any and all accumulated amounts.
• However, the customer will still receive a R5 000 consolation prize.

Example:

10k, 20k, 30k, 15k = R75k (if they cash out after 30k then they will win R60k, if they cash out after 15k they will win R75k.  If the customer doesn’t cash out and the next scratch is a ‘consolation only win’ scratch, no amount is won, and they will receive the R5k consolation prize).

21. Hollywoodbets account holder winners shall have the prize paid into their Hollywoodbets account by no later than 12-noon on the day after the draw. Withdrawals from an account will be regulated by the company’s terms and conditions and in compliance with the FIC Act.
    
    
22. Cash prize winners at branches need to provide Hollywoodbets with a bank statement (not older than 3 months) and a copy of their identity document in order to claim the prize.
    
    
23. Cash prizes will be transferred electronically into the winner’s nominated bank account within 7 days from the date of receipt of the winner’s correct banking details and a copy of the winner’s identity document.
    
    
24. Cash winners have 5 business days from being contacted, to submit their banking details and a copy of their Identity Document to Hollywoodbets to claim their prize.
    
    
25. By entering the competition, you agree:

– that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition; Hollywoodbets Privacy Notice can be found here – CUSTOMER PRIVACY NOTICE

– to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners;

– to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your names and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.

26. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
    
    
27. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
    
    
28. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above.
    
    
29. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
    
    
30. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
    
    
31. In the event of a dispute, individuals may contact their respective gambling authorities.
