Will Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi’s latest injury keep him out of the upcoming Rugby World Cup?

The 75-Test capped flanker left the field inside the opening 10-minutes of the Sharks’ URC draw with Munster on Saturday, and there is growing concern that the injury will prevent him from appearing in the Boks’ World Cup title defence in France in September.

After appearing to pick up the injury just minutes into the encounter, the 31-year-old tried valiantly to play on after having his knee strapped, but he was ultimately forced to leave the pitch moments later.

Things seemed more hopeful post-match after he limped around Hollywoodbets Kings Park to thank the supporters in what appears to be his final appearance in black and white, but we won’t know the extent of the knock until the Sharks release an update.
