It’s another full complement of EPL action to look forward to and that means another opportunity to get through those weekend multiples.

Saturday 30 October

Leicester City 15/10
Draw 24/10
Arsenal 7/4
(13:30)

Finally, finally a dominant performance by Arsenal football club. Mikel Arteta’s men completely controlled the fixture against Aston Villa. Their defence was largely resolute, the midfield pulled the strings and allowed their attacking options to just simply play.

Leicester have been sort of unconventional so far this season, and Brendan Rodgers’ men will always look to have a go. However, conceding two or more in their four games leading up to the Brentford fixture and then being opened so many times by the Bees won’t go down too well with their manager.

Arsenal on the Win/Draw Double Chance + Both Teams to Score at 27/20 is the tip.

Watford 21/10
Draw 24/10
Southampton 5/4
(16:00)

Claudio Ranieri earned his first win with Watford by stunning Everton 5-2. I don’t think Everton played poorly but they might have been guilty of taking Watford for granted.

I might be trying to over-romanticize this, but the Leicester championship season with the Italian was often underpinned by the pace and immediate transition between attack and defence…but they also never stopped playing. Watford showed that on the weekend – and what a result!

Southampton are a side who will be happy to sit under the radar. The Saints sort of just put in consistent performances and mind their business.

I’m happy to get behind the home win here, I haven’t been impressed by Southampton and they will want to go toe-to-toe with Watford. They’ll come off second best.

Liverpool 2/9
Draw 52/10
Brighton 10/1
(16:00)

I’ve been impressed with Brighton, I backed them to possibly stun City and get something out of the game…that wasn’t to be. I thought they let themselves down in the first half and only really showed their character in the final 45 minutes.

Gracious, I’d love nothing more than an away anything here… But Liverpool seems unplayable at the moment, you just can’t go against them and I’m not even going to try and be cute. Back the straight win and add to every multiple, double, treble, hell add to Sunday’s roast.

Newcastle 7/1
Draw 39/10
Chelsea 7/20
(16:00)

Newcastle playing at home will always be a test, they’ll be tempted by the Gallowgate end and attempt to attack. Chelsea will have to show patience and character. If they underestimate the Magpies, they could be surprised.

Chelsea have been excellent though. I certainly wouldn’t suggest anyone go against them. In terms of value though, it might prove useful to look at Chelsea scoring more than one. Get on at 29/20.

Manchester City 1/6
Draw 6/1
Crystal Palace 13/1
(16:00)

For some or other reason, City aren’t looking as dominant. Yes, they are still a quality outfit, but they’ve slipped under the radar really. I’m not suggesting they aren’t still the Kings of England; it just doesn’t feel that way.

Palace have been exciting recently. They have adopted a style of play which doesn’t accommodate ‘safe’ football and their performances have been really encouraging. They will go to the Etihad and show little regard for their opponents whilst they attack, and rightly so. City to win and both teams to score looks tasty at 7/4.

Burnley 18/10
Draw 22/10
Brentford 16/10
(16:00)

I thought Brentford were unlucky against a spirited Leicester City, the Bees went onto the front foot early but failed to capitalize and then consolidate. The immaturity – if I can describe it that way – with which they play, will inevitably be both a blessing and a curse, but I thought they lacked the killer blow on Sunday.

I’m not enjoying this open and sort of expansive Burnley. I think of a lot of their success came from smothering games, but they haven’t managed that once this year. I think the away win could be the way to go, I almost said ‘upset’ but I’m not sure it would be.

Tottenham 18/10

Manchester United 14/10

Sunday 31 October

Norwich City 23/10
Draw 5/2
Leeds United 11/10
(16:00)

Leeds was saved by a late (rather soft) penalty against Wolves, and I’m starting to think their honeymoon period in the league is well and truly over. I know this isn’t the first time you’ll see such a comment – but to be completely honest, it’s about time this infatuation with Marcelo Bielsa passed. Don’t get me wrong, his contribution to football is unquestionable…but his supposed ‘success’ at Leeds is often ludicrous.

Norwich have been vague and embarrassing to watch. This team isn’t a Premier League team and I’m sure that will be rectified in no time. Although, I think such a fixture might give the mighty soldiers of Carrow Road a redemption song.

Close your eyes and throw some coins at Norwich on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 13/20 and see what happens. Yes, that is really my advice.

Aston Villa 7/4
Draw 49/20
West Ham 29/20
(18:30)

This could be a tricky game. Villa weren’t great away at Arsenal, while West Ham were impressive at home to Spurs. And now herein lies our problem, Villa at home shouldn’t be taken lightly whilst the Hammers away from home are just another kettle of irons…see what I did there??

Anyway, I wouldn’t be too aggressive in getting behind David Moyes’ men. You can get around 6/10 on both teams to score, for me that’s good enough a price to go all in.

Monday 1 November

Wolves 12/10
Draw 9/4
Everton 47/20
(22:00)

I’m not sure what I’m missing when it comes to Wolves fixtures, they just continue to be priced up. Wolves outplayed Leeds for large parts last time out, their gritty and physical approach is uncomfortable to deal with and this is only compounded when playing in front of their spirited home crowd.

Everton, on the other hand, was run ragged by Watford and just couldn’t keep up with their pace and movement. Rafa Benitez is a classy manager and was made to look somewhat confused or clueless in dealing with his side forced into unsolicited vulnerability.

I think 12/10 is excellent value to BACK THE PACK on a Monday night.
