PREVIEW: Dortmund on the verge of ending Bayern’s 10-year dominance as Bundesliga reaches conclusion

Bochum 24/10 | Draw 29/10 | Leverkusen 1/1 (15:30)

Leverkusen has been completely remoulded under Xabi Alonso. However, narrowly missing out on Champions League next term due to a poor run of recent fixtures will sting. A win would secure European football, but they face a Bochum side who would remain in the topflight should they secure three points. Both Teams to Score (Yes) is the likely outcome at 9/20.

Cologne 7/1 | Draw 54/10 | Bayern Munich 3/10 (15:30)

For some strange reason, the pressure undoubtedly got to the heads of the Bayern defenders, handing out clear-cut penalties to RB Leipzig last time out; that – among much more – could really have cost them the league title. Now, all Bayern must do is win their fixture and hope for the best. They should win, but will it be enough?

Dortmund 2/11 | Draw 7/1 | Mainz 11/1 (15:30)

A win for Dortmund ends the dominant run their rivals Bayern have enjoyed over the past 11 years. All Edin Terzic must do is organize his men into the perfect mindset and take on Mainz – who have lost each of their last four fixtures. When Erling Haaland left and their new number nine fell “terminally” ill, all hope had seemed lost for Dortmund, but now in front of their ‘yellow army’, they can unprecedentedly lift their ninth league title. Back the champions elect, Dortmund, in all multiples.

Eintracht Frankfurt 29/20 | Draw 26/10 | Freiburg 17/10 (15:30)

Eintracht Frankfurt has been completely remoulded under Oliver Glasner; however, a Freiburg win here could possibly secure a Champions League spot. The away side is tipped on the Draw/Win Double Chance.

Leipzig 13/20 | Draw 36/10 | Schalke 33/10 (15:30)

Leipzig did something remarkable by defeating Bayern Munich 3-1 last time out. Now, they will be a part of another monumental moment in the season by deciding the fate of Schalke. While Schalke should put up a glorious fight – similarly to their 2-2 result against Eintracht last time out – they must still rely on extenuating circumstances going in their favour. I’m confidently backing a draw here knowing full and well Leipzig have already secured third place.

Monchengladbach 5/4 | Draw 11/4 | Augsburg 19/10 (15:30)

Both Monchengladbach and Augsburg have a combined three wins in their last 20 fixtures, hence their low table standings. Augsburg have it all to do, and should they win, to remain afloat. Back the away side.

Stuttgart 11/20 | Draw 36/10 | Hoffenheim 42/10 (15:30)

Stuttgart remains above the relegation zone only by goal difference. A mere point will be enough to keep the home side fighting another year. Back the home win.

Union 4/10 | Draw 38/10 | Werder 13/2 (15:30)

Union Berlin faced a dramatic end to their last fixture when they were defeated 4-2 by Hoffenheim. Three goals all in the additional time of the second half put their Champions League aspirations up in the air, but you can always count on their home form to secure your bets. The home side is a banker.

Wolfsburg 4/10 | Draw 42/10 | Hertha 4/1 (15:30)

Despite already suffering relegation, Hertha Berlin gave their home fans one last fight, but came up short yet again, letting in a 90-minute goal to draw 1-1. An away trip will prove much more difficult considering they’ve picked up a measly five points on the road. Back the home side with confidence.
