The Brazilians are undefeated in the DStv Premiership this season with eight wins from eight.

They also made it to the final of the MTN8 where they were beaten by Orlando Pirates.

Galaxy have won just two of their league games this term, but were just one of two teams to beat the Brazilians last term, in a first round fixture they won 1-0.

But while the league is Galaxy’s sole focus, Mokwena’s side are fighting on a number of fronts, including the CAF Champions League, which is stretching the club’s capabilities.

Ahead of the upcoming cup clash, the Brazilians boss said in the Citizen: “We have to make sure every team we line up is the strongest and the best that we can put out on the pitch.

“We reached the final (of the MTN8) with so many injuries and that’s because we have depth in the team. Compliments must go to the club for the investment in the transfer window to put together such a strong squad.

“They (Galaxy) are a good team, well coached and have some very good players. The good thing is that they will host us at a good stadium with a good pitch and I think it’s probably one of the best fields in the PSL.”
