Friday 28 July

Juventus 15/10 | Draw 9/4 | AC Milan 15/10 (04:30)

Two traditional rivals begin sparring as the season begins to loom on the horizon, Juventus will have some work to do insofar as reminding everyone of their European pedigree…but for AC Milan it will be all about maintaining some really good achievement last time out. Juventus will inevitably need a bit of a rebuild, so I’ll back Milan here.

San Diego Loyal 7/1 | Draw 46/10 | Dortmund 1/4 (04:30)

The American support will have a chance to see one of their own go up against a more traditional European powerhouse in Borussia Dortmund. The signing of Marcel Sabitzer would have surprised a few, but I think he is exactly what Dortmund need. I’m not sure the hosts will match their German counterparts, but both teams scoring should be a runner.

PSG 1/4 | Draw 46/10 | Cerezo Osaka 7/1 (12:20)

To be completely honest, I threw in PSG here only to rant about Kylian Mbappe! I honestly do not think enough is said about the way clubs in Europe treat players versus how much is said about the behavior of the players!

I think Mbappe has certainly learnt to manipulate the situation with his contracts, but it is dangerous to assume that clubs are always acting in good faith! Anyway…PSG win here by a few.

Saturday 29 July

Barcelona 15/10 | Draw 28/10 | Real Madrid 13/10 (23:00)

When these two fierce rivals meet – whenever or wherever that may be – it is always a clash like no other. There is never any love lost and plenty on the line.

These two sides have seen a new era dawn and with the youngsters in their ranks, I’m sure we will see two sets of teams eager to put everything on the line. Back a draw here.

Sunday 30 July

Liverpool 4/10 | Draw 7/2 | Leicester City 5/1 (11:00)

I am sure I have said this somewhere already, but Liverpool (in my opinion) have done the best business in the Premier League this window. They have absolutely shopped almost entirely for what they need as well as taken advantage of the proverbial ‘deals’ on offer. Back the Reds here.

Atletico Madrid 52/10 | Draw 34/10 | Manchester City 4/10 (13:00)

Even in the preparation stage, some things never change with these two sides. City coming back from two goals down a week ago, Atletico looking to hurt opposition on the counter and from a hard static block…the more they change the more they stay the same!

I think this will be a goal fest though, they will both want to have a crack at each other and with little to lose why not? Back Over 3.5 Goals here.
