This fearless approach makes Brentford a formidable opponent, even in the face of adversity.
The visitors are also in a purple patch of form, winning their previous three Premier League games and will be in high spirits despite finding themselves without several key first-team players, raising questions about their depth and resilience yet they have somehow beaten the odds and come out on top.
Vitaly Janelt’s showing at left-back in the win against West Ham last week was evident of this. A midfielder tasked with locking down one of the most inform wingers in the league in Jarod Bowen and the German came out on top, displaying such poise and maturity in his performance.

Another stalwart performer this season has been Bryan Mbuemo, stepping up and taking on majority of the goal-scoring responsibility and the Cameroonian has been nothing short of phenomenal. The forward was nominated for Premier League player of the month for October, registering the most shots (14) and contributing 4 goals and assists. Frank is getting the most out his players and they are ready to go to war for the Dane.
That said, the trip to Anfield is one of the toughest for any opponent and without key personnel it makes things even more complicated. Frank will need his team to execute the game plan to perfection, which will likely centre around bidding their time by defending their box well and looking to hurt the home team on the counter as well as being a threat from set-pieces.
The Bees record away at Liverpool is not good on the eye, losing three nil in their first season back in the big time and by a narrow one nil score line last campaign, that should be motivation enough to break their Anfield duck. Luckily Brentford has the capacity to rise to the occasion on the grandest stages, no grander than Anfield.
