I’ve absolutely loved the fact that these two sides are unapologetic about their current approach during their preparation. Attacking football has been the name of the game and goals are aplenty at the moment!
Brighton is able to justify their play with an aggressive press…but Newcastle seem to be the more complete football side. Back the Magpies and both teams to score.

Aston Villa 13/10 | Draw 28/10 | Brentford 15/10 (18:00)
At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, I think Aston Villa are the more likely to be a surprise package this year. They have an unassuming (and yet high quality) squad of players all capable of turning it on!
Brentford look to be trying to replicate their performances, although a more consistent setting might be what the Bees need if they intend finding a degree of quality. I’m on Villa here.
Chelsea 11/20 | Draw 32/10 | Fulham 7/2 (20:45)
Chelsea will always have pressure, not only because of the quality in their squad (or their manager) but also because of the financial impotence of their ownership. I must say, so far, they have looked as though they are taking the expectation in their stride and if that becomes a norm, they have every chance of being competitive… Chelsea and Over 2.5 Goals is my pick.
