In line with this, reports from El Chiringuito indicate that Atletico Madrid’s interest in Fati is not mere speculation. The club’s CEO, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, recently engaged in discussions with Jorge Mendes to express Atletico’s sincere desire to acquire Fati’s services.
During this dialogue, Marin personally requested Mendes to undertake efforts to persuade Fati to join Atleti during this ongoing summer transfer window. Such a move would align with Atletico’s objectives to enhance their attacking options for the upcoming season.
