The Ange Postecoglou effect at Spurs cannot be understated.
They are flying under the new Australian manager, sitting second in the Premier League table after going unbeaten in their opening four games.
Postecoglou’s side have earned 10 points in those fixtures and one more win would see them post a better starting record than in any campaign since 1965.
Meanwhile, Jürgen Klopp believes Liverpool have given themselves a good basis for what they must do moving forward after they brought their Premier League campaign to a close at Southampton on Sunday.
The Reds played out an eight-goal contest on the south coast, claiming a point at St Mary’s Stadium on the final day with a 4-4 draw.
Lastly, the international break wasn’t a happy one for Manchester United and their fans and things won’t get any easier when Brighton visit Old Trafford on Saturday.
After losing at Arsenal late on at the Emirates at the start of August, Man Utd have seen a public spat between Jadon Sancho and Erik ten Hag, the postponement of Antony’s return to the club from Brazil duty due to assault allegations and rumours of showdown talks between Ten Hag and Andre Onana over the latter’s decision to start playing for Cameroon again.
