Star forward Karim Benzema has not yet confirmed if he will sign another contract at Real Madrid.
So far this season, the Frenchman has scored 24 goals across all competitions, putting himself on track for the best scoring season of his career at the LaLiga giants.
With a year to go on his contract Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez would love to extend it by at least another year.
According to Diario AS, the 34-year-old Benzema has made no decision whether he will stay at Real Madrid, the reason being, if the club sign Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and get Kylian Mbappé from PSG it would then mean that one of the three attacking players would have to sit on the bench.
With Benzema turning 35 in December he would want to see what time he has left in his career playing regularly instead of spending his time on the substitutes bench.
It now remains interesting what Benzema decides to do if both or either one of the moves were to happen.
