The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has revealed and the team names and coaches for the upcoming DStv Compact Cup.
The squads of the four teams have also been announced with voting for the starting line-ups set to be activated and closing on 12 January.
The short tournament will kick off on Saturday, 22 January with squads compromising squads comprising of eight defenders, eight midfielders, four strikers, two goalkeepers as well as four DStv Diski Challenge players.

“It was in this spirit that we came up with the viewer’s choice, and asked fans to choose the players they wanted to see take the field as part of the four regional teams that will take part in this tournament.
“This goes to show that fans have been longing for an opportunity to engage further and directly with their favourite clubs.
“Working closely with the PSL, we want to assure fans that they can expect pure entertainment and never seen before football action in a competition that is living up to its theme and promise of being ‘The Viewer’s Choice’.”

Coastal Group 1: AmaZulu FC; Golden Arrows FC; Maritzburg United; Royal AM FC
Coastal Group 2: Cape Town City FC; Stellenbosch FC; Chippa United FC; Baroka FC (exception)
Inland Group 1: SuperSport Utd; Mamelodi Sundowns FC; Marumo Gallants; Sekhukhune Utd
Inland Group 2: Orlando Pirates FC; Kaizer Chiefs FC; Swallows FC; TS Galaxy FC
