Saturday 22 July

Flamengo 7/20 | Draw 34/10 | America MG 6/1(21:00)

Opening up the gameweek, Flamengo hope to keep their defence tight against America MG, who have successfully kept just one clean sheet this season. Easily back Flamengo to keep applying pressure on the top of the table.

Palmeiras 6/10 | Draw 5/2 | Fortaleza 44/10 (21:00)

Fortaleza’s last two trips to the Allianz Parque have resulted in 3-0 and 4-0 thinking’s, and despite recent form of both sides, Palmeiras could see another emphatic victory.

Bahia 5/4 | Draw 17/10 | Corinthians 47/20 (23:30)

While Corinthians’ form in the league has waned, their three successive wins across all competitions is motivation enough to back the Away Draw/Win Double Chance at 11/20.

Cuiaba MT 17/10 | Draw 7/4 | Sao Paulo 33/20 (23:30)

Sao Paulo have seemingly found their feet after troubled times, going undefeated in six fixtures across all comps, but Cuiaba’s rigid defence will be hard to overcome. The draw is highly likely.

Sunday 23 July

Gremio 14/10 | Draw 18/10 | Atletico MG 19/10 (02:00)

A few games just short of the halfway mark in the Brazilian Serie A, newly-promoted Gremio sit third in the table, but now they face Atletico MG, who have the second-best goal difference of the bottom half, and the same as their current opponents. The Under 2.5 market is my play.

Bragantino 17/20  | Draw 21/10 | Internacional 3/1 (21:00)

Between Bragantino and Internacional, one goal has been score in six collective games. This is not a barn burner of Brazilian football but seems more like two imposter clubs. However, that one goal is enough to help us lean in favour of Bragantino.

Santos 29/10 | Draw 18/10 | Botafogo 1/1 (21:00)

18-year-old winger, Angelo Gabriel, has left Santos for Chelsea after making 129 appearances, scoring five goals since joining the first team in 2020, and there is seemingly nobody to adequately replace him on the right-hand side. Botafogo’s rampant rise to the top should do Santos in quite simply, at even money, the away team is the value bet of the weekend.

Vasco 31/20  | Draw 37/20 | Atletico PR 17/10 (23:30)

Vasco da Gama are languishing in 19th place, tied on nine points with last place, still has a chance against Atletico PR, only because they have won just once in 15 away games. Back the draw here.
