Friday 21 July

Brommapojkarna 37/20 | Draw 2/1 | Hammarby 27/20 (19:00)

Brommapojkarna gets the weekend started when they welcome Hammarby to the Grimsta IP stadium in Stockholm. The disappointing 4-2 away defeat at Hacken brings Brommapojkarna to a four-match losing run and desperate to get back to basics as they have lost their last three home matches.

Hammarby will be full of confidence coming into this fixture after they recorded their second consecutive win in the league after their 3-1 home win against Kalmar. A win for Hammarby will increase their lead over Brommapojkarna to six points and inflict a fourth consecutive home defeat for the hosts. Hammarby are the more in-form team coming into this fixture; back Hammarby to win.

Saturday 22 July

Djurgarden 29/20 | Draw 21/10 | Elfsborg 33/20 (15:00)

Djurgarden are hosting league leaders Elfsborg on their home turf after their 2-1 away win at Varnamo. Djurgarden are in hot form and have extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in the league, a win would reduce the gap with Elfsborg to a six points difference and remain undefeated at home.

League leaders Elfsborg saw a three-match winning streak come to an end after their 1-1 home draw against IFK Goteborg but extended their unbeaten run to 14 matches in the league. Elfsborg have won their last six away games and have scored two or more goals in each of their last four away matches, showing their superiority and attacking prowess. Back Elfsborg to win and maintain their lead at the top of the table.

Varnamo 32/10 | Draw 49/20 | Hacken 15/20 (17:30)

Varnamo are at home against second-placed Hacken after a 2-2 draw against Halmstad in their previous fixture. Varnamo have lost four of their last five games, including their last three.

Defending champions Hacken have extended their unbeaten run to six matches in the league after their handsome 4-2 home win against Brommapojkarna. Maximum points will be the order of the day as they close in on league leaders Elfsborg. Hacken will be too hot to handle on the day for Varnamo; Hacken are tipped to win.

Sunday 23 July

AIK 26/10 | Draw 23/10 | Malmo 9/10 (15:00)

AIK are in 14th position after 14 games with 10 points on the table coming into this fixture against Malmo. The loss against Hacken in the previous fixture would have dampened their spirits but they must come out fighting and fully prepared to end a five-match winless streak at home.

Malmo will be disappointed after they ended a three-match unbeaten run in the league with their 2-1 home defeat against Mjallby prior to facing AIK. Malmo, who currently sit third and two points off leaders Elfsborg, need to come out and dominate proceedings to clinch another important three points. Back Malmo to win.

IFK Goteborg 11/10 | Draw 43/20 | Halmstad 43/20 (17:30)

IFK Goteborg pulled off an upset in the 1-1 draw away at Elfsborg, bringing their winless run to nine matches in the league. Goteborg must build on that performance and use home ground advantage to good use as these three points could go a long away as they sit just a single point above last place.

Halmstad have won their previous four away fixtures, scoring eight goals and conceding three, bringing their unbeaten run to seven matches. Halmstad have been clinical in the final third and could prove too strong for Goteborg to handle on the day. Halmstad are the far more superior team in this fixture, back them to get the win away from home.

Kalmar 9/20 | Draw 29/10 | Varberg 52/10 (17:30)

Kalmar are hosting Varberg in the final fixture of the weekend as they look to rectify their 3-1 away defeat at Hammarby. Kalmar have succumbed to their second consecutive defeat and must find some consistency in hope of breaking into the top five.

Varberg have found it difficult to keep up with a pace thus far and stay rooted to the bottom of the table despite recording their first win of the season in the league after their 2-1 away win at IFK Goteborg. Varberg now have the feeling of winning under their belt and need to put in extra work to maintain the level of performance with another three points on the line. Kalmar are tipped to put Varberg to the sword in front of their home fans.
