‘I’ve not seen many work as hard’ – Ramovic hails ‘unbelievable’ Samir Nurkovic

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has hailed the impact of striker Samir Nurkovic after completing a move since his Kaizer Chiefs departure.

Nurkovic was on the scoresheet for Galaxy in a 3-1 win over Golden Arrows over the weekend and has scored five goals in 10 appearances in a prolific return to the DStv Premiership.

“Samir is unbelievable,” said Ramovic.

“I have seen so many players, and I’ve not seen many work as hard, with as fantastic an attitude. We are just lucky to have Samir in our team. He is on top with his fitness and will help us a lot.

“There are still 14 games to go in the league, and hopefully four more cup games. Samir has no injuries and every day he trains his best, every team would be glad to have Samir in their squad and I am sure we will see a lot of him.”

TS Galaxy next face a Round of 32 Nedbank Cup clash against the same opponents Golden Arrows at the Mpumalanga Stadium on Friday.

Kick-off is at 19:00.
