Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefe Ntseki has officially confirmed the return of two pivotal players, Ranga Chivaviro and Mozambican international Edmilson Dove.

Chivaviro’s absence had left a void in the team since his last appearance against TS Galaxy, where the club suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat. Unfortunately, he had to be substituted just 29 minutes into the match and subsequently missed the team’s last three fixtures.

On the other hand, Dove, the Mozambican sensation, had been sidelined due to a preseason injury and had yet to make an appearance for Chiefs this season.

Despite being named in the Mozambican squad that recently secured qualification for the African Cup Of Nations, he remained an unused substitute during their thrilling 3-2 victory over Benin.

Coach Ntseki expressed his delight at the return of these crucial players, emphasizing the positive impact they would bring as the team aims to climb the league standings.

“We’ve welcomed back a few players who were previously sidelined due to injuries, which is a significant plus for us. It’s great to have Ranga Chivaviro back in the squad,” Ntseki shared with the Chiefs media.

“Our squad is looking formidable. In the next couple of weeks, we anticipate having everyone back, presenting us with a delightful selection headache as we consider the quality of players for our team.

“Furthermore, Edmilson Dove’s return after a three-week injury layoff is a big positive for us. It appears that everything is aligning well, and we are filled with optimism.”

The highly anticipated clash is scheduled to kick off at 17h30 at FNB Stadium on Saturday. Chiefs could potentially leap into second place in the standings if they manage to secure victory against Royal AM, while also relying on a stumble from Golden Arrows against Stellenbosch.
