Midfielder Yusuf Maart said before the game that Chiefs wanted to “dominate with the ball” and give the fans goals but it was the visitors that looked the likelier threat.
John Maduka’s charges showed good composure defensively and always looked a threat going forward on the counter-attack as the hosts left spaces in behind.
Royal AM had a terrible start to their campaign but Maduka will be pleased with the character of his squad as they have won their last two matches in the league an now got a draw at the FNB stadium.
