Maritzburg United will share the Harry Gwala Stadium with Royal AM next season.
The Team of Choice were initially forced to search for a new home ground following their relegation from the DStv Premiership last season.
Their main sponsor Msunduzi Municipality decided to terminate their sponsorship agreement in favour of Royal AM.
It has been suggested that the Woodburn Stadium would be an option for Maritzburg.
But as the new season edges closer, it has been revealed that Royal AM, who are also based in Pietermaritzburg, will move from the Chatsworth Stadium to the Harry Gwala alongside Martizburg.
Royal AM General Manager Richard Makhoba told FARPost: “We will be using Harry Gwala, and we’ll be sharing the stadium with Maritzburg United.
“When we play home, they will play away. When they play home, we’ll play away.
“We were sitting with the chairman this morning, Kadodia, and then we rolled out the plan together.”
