“Lamontville Golden Arrows welcomes back coach Steve Komphela, who is no stranger to the club, the values and culture of the club,” a Golden Arrows statement said.
“We look forward to his knowledge and guidance as we seek to finish the season strong. Welcome back Steve”
Arrows have suffered a disappointing 11-match losing run that stretches to October 2023 under former coach Mabhuti Khenyeza.
The Durban outfit have dropped to 12th in the league standings on 23 points, 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
Komphela will be aiming to secure his side’s first points of the calendar year in a DStv Premiership clash against Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
