The former Bloemfontein Celtic, Chippa United and Golden Arrows manager was most recently employed by Polokwane City.

He shocked the club’s supporters by quitting the promoted club despite a strong start to the new DStv Premiership season.

Rise and Shine are currently in sixth place on the league standings with 17 points, while Sekhukhune are down in 11th with 14 points.

But with Brandon Truter sacked by Babina Noko, Seema accepted the opportunity to replace him.

The new manager told the Sekhukhune website: “There is obviously a lot ahead of us and therefore I have to hit the ground running.

“I don’t want to make any promises except to offer my work ethic and dedication to the club and its supporters.”

Seema added: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the chairman Simon Malatji for having afforded me an opportunity to lead the team.

“I’m most appreciative of how the negotiations between my management team and the club were handled in a respectable and candid manner.”

Sekhukhune are next in action against RSB Berkane in the group stage of the Confederation Cup on Sunday.
