The 27-year-old former Polokwane City attacker joined Masandawana this season after his departure from relegated Marumo Gallants.

He has already played four DStv Premiership matches for the current champions, scoring two goals.

As Sundowns prepare for the second qualifying round of the Champions League campaign against Burundi side Bumamuru, Nku admits winning the competition would be a massive achievement, having made it all the way to the CAF Confederations Cup semi-finals last term.

He told Sundowns Magazine: “Making this move to Bafana Ba Style is a huge milestone for me and an important step in my career. I am excited to be here and winning the CAF Champions League would be an amazing way to announce my arrival at the club.

“I can’t wait for the opportunity to integrate into the team, showing the fans my style of play and the confidence I bring to the pitch. I believe that working together as a team, we have the potential to get some silverware this season.”
