The 53-year-old mentor has had a good record against the Glamour Boys of Soweto, claiming three wins, three draws and only losing once to Chiefs during Stuart Baxter’s stint.

“I can’t remember Chiefs beating me and with our records in KZN, I think they looked at that and decided to bring it there,” said Truter.

They have signed big players and big players come with big expectations, so the pressure just grows there.

“For any other team that plays against Chiefs, the motivation in itself is there for the players. Yes, we will prepare, but that is one for the players (to motivate themselves).”

The two sides will clash in the DStv Premiership at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday evening, with the hosts Sekhukhune United currently on a four-match unbeaten run which directly contradicts Amakhosi’s final four matches in all competition.

Kaizer Chiefs will be looking for their first win of the month of September following two draws and two losses in their last four fixtures in all competitions.
