TS Galaxy coach, Sead Ramovic, says he was not impressed by Steve Komphela’s rude comments directed at him in their DStv Premiership game against Mamelodi Sundowns at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday.

His team was beaten 3-0 by the log-leaders having played with 10-men from the 22nd minute onward after Lindokuhle Mbatha picked up two yellow cards.

In an interview with SuperSport after the game, Ramovic spoke about his teams’ performance and said he was unimpressed by comments and bad language made by the Masandawana co-coach directed at him.

“I think that we started well in the game with lots of energy,” Ramovic told SuperSport.

“After stupid mistake of our player we got a brilliant goal against us so I also have to congratulate the opponent. This club are the benchmark in the league. They will punish every mistake you make so they scored like two beautiful and then it’s not easy to come back against a good team, especially after the red card we got.

“It’s okay if the ref decides that a player gets a card but what I cannot accept is if a colleague or coach stands there for five minutes and to try to talk, ‘you have to give him a card’. The name of the coach is Steve Komphela so after I told him that he should not do it, that it’s not a nice way then he started to talk in a bad language back,” said Ramovic.

“I believe to be a head coach in a big club like Sundowns this kind of bad talk it’s a shame. Everybody has to know how he behaves around other colleagues, you must show respect and not talk like – I can’t even say it on TV so bad it was.

“We played well with ten men. We have to keep going. We have to improve our final pass still so we have to get ready for a big fight against Baroka and we have to be ready and we will fight for the points there.

Ramovic added that the incident with Komphela is in the past now and he wishes him luck for the rest of their season.
“It’s over now. I just think the behavior is the most important thing so after the game it’s fine I wish him all the best. I wish them that they win the league.
“It’s my opinion between the coaches you should use nice language because I think you represent the club, you represent the supporters so you should know how you talk,” he added.
