Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane says his side is balanced even without missed transfer target Kobamelo Kodisang.

Amakhosi were reportedly in the chase for the 22-year-old Braga B attacker but a deal failed to materialise.

Zwane has been hard at work preparing his side for the new season, and has snapped up George Matlou, Kamohelo Mahlatsi and Dillon Solomons (all from Swallows), Yusuf Maart (Sekhukhune United), Ashley du Preez and Zitha Kwinika (both Stellenbosch) and Siyethemba Sithebe (AmaZulu).

But reflecting on missing out a potential move for the former Bidvest Wits player, Zwane insists he has more than enough cover.

He told Soccer Laduma: “No, we are not disappointed.

“I think we have assembled a very good squad. We’ve got balance. We’ve still got [Kamohelo] Mahlatsi, we still have [Kgaogelo] KG (Sekgota).

“We have many players if we want to change the formation, to play with wingers. If we want to play with wing backs, we still have players who can give us that power on the right and left flanks. I think we have balance.”
