Chippa United coach Daine Klate has reportedly been sacked by the club after Wednesday’s 1-0 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 37-year-old Klate, who had been promoted from Chippa’s reserve team to take over from Kurt Lentjies at the start of the season, had been in charge for seven league games with one win, two draws and four losses.
According to Soccer Laduma sources at Chippa, Morgan Mammila will take charge as caretaker coach, after resigning two days ago as CEO of the Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit All Stars FC.
Chippa currently sit at the bottom of the DStv Premiership log with only five points from a possible 21.
