No CAF CL for Orlando Pirates
There will be no CAF Champions League football for Royal AM and Orlando Pirates following Friday’s stalemate.
Royal AM and Pirates shared the spoils at the Chatsworth Stadium in the DStv Premiership which means Cape Town City will join Sundowns in the champions league next season.
Royal AM came from 2-0 behind to secure a 2-2 draw. AM moved from fifth to third and will await the results between Pirates and SuperSport United to confirm whether they’ve secured CAF football or not.
Pirates require five clear goals to overcome AM who are in third, whilst SuperSport United requires a draw to qualify for the top 8.
