You just love to see it! The Proteas and legendary former Bafana Bafana captain Lucas Radebe went crazy at the final whistle as South Africa edged England 16-15 in an epic Rugby World Cup 2023 semifinal at the Stade de France in St. Denis, Paris.

South Africa’s men’s national cricket team and the Leeds United and Kaizer Chiefs great were seen in separate videos celebrating as the Springboks reached their fourth Rugby World Cup final. In that decider, they will take on old foe New Zealand’s All Blacks as either team looks to become the first nation to claim the William Webb Ellis on four occasions.

The Proteas had, earlier in the day, absolutely thumped England in the concurrent 2023 Cricket World Cup in India. On the other hand, Radebe is revered in one part of England at least. He played at Leeds United between 1994 and 2005, representing ‘The Whites’ on 314 occasions, being famously appointed as the club’s captain from 1998 onwards.
